refbook Linking as Contacts

Linking as Contacts

refbook allows you to connect with other individuals who are on the refbook platform. The 'contact' system is designed to build an officiating 'phonebook', in addition to colleagues that you will have connection with via the same competition/panel.

Linking as a contact allows you to see the refbook user's basic contact information.

When connecting to a user, the invitation to link must be accepted by the contact. If the contact does not have a refbook account, they will be prompted to register with refbook.

Linking as a Contact
  1. Click the 'Contacts' button on the sidebar menu
  2. Click '+Add Contact'
  3. Enter the contact's details.
  4. If the user does not have a refbook account, they will be invited to create a refbook account.

  5. If the user already has a refbook account, they will be located. Click 'Confirm'.

  6. When the contact accepts the invitation, you will receive email notification of linking.

  7. They will now be visible in your Contacts as a linked contact.
