Refbook allows you to setup and connect with other members of your family within the platform. Linking within a Family Group allows you to view the members of your family and assist with:
- overseeing appointments (view only)
- managing availability and conflicts
- update profile information
When Creating a Family Group there are two main roles:
- Family Manager(s): the creator of the Family Group
- Members: individual users within the Refbook database who are invited to the Family Group by the Family Manager
Notes:
- All members must have a unique Refbook user profile with individual email address, including the Family Manager (even if the Family Manager will not be directly being used by the organisation). These user profiles must be created by each user before the Family Group can be configured.
- The parent/guardian (not the official) needs to be the creator of the Family Group.
- The Family Manager does not need to be connected to the organisation of the family members (ie: only the end user will have a connection to their organisations)
- The creator of a new Family Group is automatically added as its Family Manager and foundation member
- The Family Manager of the Family Group must have a user's email address as used in Refbook in order to connect. This cannot be facilitated by Refbook.
- There is no limit to the number of Family Managers or Members within a Family Group
- All members must accept an invite to join a Family Group
- Family Managers are not able to:
- accept appointments
- complete forms
- submit game or expense claims
